Uses and Properties

RAW GARDEN 1G 100% Live Resin Sauce is a cannabis concentrate made from fresh-frozen cannabis material. Live resin is generally associated with preserving a broader selection of the plant’s naturally occurring cannabinoids and volatile terpenes compared with concentrates produced from dried and cured material.

Key properties include:

• 1G format: The product is identified as containing 1 gram of concentrate.
• Live resin: Produced from fresh-frozen cannabis rather than traditionally dried and cured flower.
• Sauce-style consistency: Live resin sauce is generally a terpene-rich liquid fraction of cannabis extract, although exact composition varies by producer and batch.
• Cannabinoids: The actual cannabinoid concentrations should be confirmed through the product’s packaging or certificate of analysis.
• Terpenes: Fresh-frozen processing is intended to help preserve volatile aromatic compounds naturally present in cannabis.
• Batch variability: Aroma, flavor, potency, and terpene composition can differ according to cultivar, processing, storage, and production methods.

Manufacturing Process

The exact proprietary process used for RAW GARDEN 1G 100% Live Resin Sauce is not publicly established, so the following describes the general commercial process for live resin sauce, rather than claiming it is RAW GARDEN’s specific formulation.

1. Fresh Harvest

Cannabis plants are harvested and handled promptly to preserve their cannabinoid and terpene profile. Live resin specifically starts with fresh material that has not undergone conventional drying and curing.

2. Rapid Freezing

The freshly harvested material is rapidly frozen and maintained in a frozen state until extraction. This helps limit the loss and transformation of volatile compounds such as terpenes.

3. Controlled Extraction

In licensed commercial production, the frozen cannabis is processed using an appropriate extraction system. Hydrocarbon extraction is one method commonly used for live resin, allowing cannabinoids and terpenes to be separated from the plant material at controlled low temperatures.

4. Solvent Removal and Purification

Following extraction, residual processing solvent is removed using controlled commercial purification and recovery equipment. Proper processing and laboratory testing are important for verifying that residual solvents remain within applicable regulatory limits.

5. Sauce Formation

For sauce-style products, the concentrate may undergo controlled post-extraction separation and curing. THCA can separate into crystalline material while a terpene-rich liquid fraction remains, producing the characteristic sauce-like consistency.

6. Laboratory Testing

Finished batches can be tested for cannabinoid potency, terpene composition, residual solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants. A certificate of analysis provides the most reliable information about the specific batch.

7. Packaging

After quality-control checks, the finished 1G concentrate is packaged in an appropriate sealed container and labeled with relevant product, batch, potency, and regulatory information.

Note: Because extraction can involve flammable solvents and specialized equipment, commercial cannabis extraction should be performed only in appropriately licensed and equipped facilities.
